Nice to meet you

I was born in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, and if you are interested in Chinese history and have read “Romance of the Three Kingdoms”, this is where the famous story of the "Three humble visits to a thatched cottage (三顾茅庐)" was staged. I came to Japan in 2015 to pursue graduate studies and am currently settled in Tokyo.

In China, I particularly visit Shanghai frequently, and I also have living experience in other cities like Xi'an and Dalian. Furthermore, I visit the United States and the United Kingdom almost every year for travel or training purposes.

Since childhood, I have been interested in Chinese literature under the influence of my family and excelled in it during my school years. I have been working as a professional Chinese language educator for more than a decade since I obtained my International Chinese Teacher Certificate in 2012. I'm a native Chinese speaker fluent in English and near-native in Japanese. Whether you're comfortable with Chinese, English, or Japanese, I can guide you through learning effectively. With experience in teaching these languages, I can seamlessly switch between them to enhance your understanding.

With my professional passion, commitment, and extensive experience, I respect the individuality of our students and am flexible to meet their various needs. At the request of our clients and through referrals, I have begun to offer private lessons also in Japanese and English, as well as translation and interpretation services.

My goal is to build linguistic bridges for my students and clients. Since I know from my own experience that learning a new language is akin to unlocking a new door to explore the world, and provides more diverse and enriching life experiences. Moreover, by overcoming language barriers, we are able to interact regardless of geographical, national, and religious limitations. I believe this will help transform the world into a more harmonious and inclusive one.

I am eager to support you on the journey of crossing language boundaries, and I hope to assist my students and clients in evolving into a state of greater comfort with cross-cultural communication and becoming integral to a deeper understanding between cultures.
